Just as this guy claimed:

Only Tesla said this 80 years ago in an interview:

So who is Tesla? Well he invented many, many things you take for granted an use every day:

Friday 9/2/11

There's another TEDx social event in a few weeks taking place next door at Ignited. Details here:
http://tedxmanhattanbeach.com/events/social-september-2011/

This week I arrived home on Wednesday to find my street closed while they were shooting a commercial for the Smart car.
http://www.smartusa.com/

What was more interesting than the Smart car was the chase camera car from Pursuit Systems. They've build custom rigs on high end vehicles specifically for this purpose. Check out their products and their awesome show reel here:
http://www.pursuitsystems.com/index.html

Ted (not TED), also showed one of the lowest budget rental DVDs for Hall Pass. Low budget evidently means lack of basic menus such as scene select, clipped highlights and a terrible logic structure for legal warnings.
